Learn to Weave

If you have ever wanted to weave but was not sure where to start, this class is perfect for you! Master Weaver Shannon Nelson will be teaching students the entire process of weaving on a four shaft loom, starting with how to prepare a loom, the weaving process, and finishing the woven items.

During the six weeks, students will explore colour and design and practice with different weaving styles and materials so that they discover the many different types of textiles. This small class allows for more one on one time as students learn proper weaving techniques and terminology, allowing them to leave with four to six finished pieces, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue their weaving journey with more advanced techniques.

Sundays - October 4th, 18th, 25th, November 1st, 8th, 15th from 9:00am to 12:00pm

Mondays - October 5th, 19th, 26th, November 2nd, 9th, 16th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm

All workshop and studio drop in registrations are non-refundable. Each event requires significant time and preparation, including pre-arranged materials to ensure the best possible experience for participants.

Workshop and Drop in spots are transferable. If you have any questions, please contact us directly.

In the event of a cancellation due to low enrolment or unforeseen restrictions, we will provide alternative options for registered participants.

Only students are allowed in the studio during classes.
