MEET THE TEAM
Shannon Nelson (she/her)
The founder of Traceable Textile has been a weaver and small business owner for over 25 years. She holds a Master Weaver designation from Olds College, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, and has trained with renowned hand weavers from across North America and Europe to enhance her knowledge and skills. Shannon has worked for Gather Textiles as an instructor and weaving technician since 2019, and is very involved in the Edmonton Weaver’s Guild.
Kylie Boychuck (she/her)
Kylie has a rich background in textiles, with a family tradition in quilting that includes handcrafted works from four generations. Kylie brings a unique set of skills, she is not only a very talented weaver, she is also a spinner and she is currently advancing her skills through the Master Spinners Program at Old College.
Barbara Rahal (she/her)
Is a professional photographer and multi talented artist, she is our Social Media Guru, responsible for sharing our passion and creations with the world. With her keen eye for aesthetics and a deep appreciation for the art of textiles, Barbara ensures that our story and products resonate with our online community.
